EnvirON

How it works:

EnvirON is a small piece of hardware that sits in living room. It is mains powered.

• Train the Infra-red codes to the EnvirON for the appliance you wish to control, and then pair your transmitter.
• Your transmitter can be your iPad. On iPad you can have up to 20 controls. When in range iPad pairs.
• Control TV via your iPad touchscreen, or alternative access to your iPad such as a QUHA Zono gyroscpic mouse, or an alternative transmitter in the EnvirON gallery.
• Trial by downloading the free iPad app.
• To operate mains-powered appliances add the iClick.

• Perhaps the most important aspect of EnvirON is the simplicity with which it can be configured. Many environmental controls require complex and lengthy on-site configuration by the manufacturer, making them very expensive. By contrast, EnvirON is simple to set up and may be configured in a matter of minutes by referencing the comprehensive manual (see under suppoer tab on this page) and online videos (in production).

Who is it for?

The EnvirON can provide a means of access to appliances for those who have difficulty with standard remote controls, or on/off switches.
It can also provide a useful learning tool when combined with the iClick for discovering cause and effect.
